What is Neuroinclusive Coaching?

Drawing of a brain

Harmonic Divergence defines neuroinclusive coaching as a journey we embark together (client-coach) where we uncover strengths, allocate and identify resources, and untap potential. In the process we create a connection, a partnership. This process is an ongoing conversation where there is an absolute appreciation of the uniqueness of the client, the uniqueness of their neurotype.

The coach shares their knowledge and expertise from their training and professional development. However, at Harmonic Divergence, it is of utmost importance for the coach to also share common lived experiences as a neurodivergent individual. This lived experience will give the coaching experience a much needed neurodiversity affirming lens.

That being said, the coach respects and values fully the client's authority and ownership of their experience. We also recognize that the client is the expert in their own experience. The client is the one in charge of the course of the journey, they are in the driver's seat and are the one responsible and accountable for their growth. Our responsibility as coaches is to facilitate the discovery, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve.
